Putter and putting the pro way; able to read the green and judge distance correctly. Visualize putting within a 3-foot circle around the cup with posture matching path.
The Putter is a flat-faced club used on the putting green for putting the ball into the cup and is also a component of a golf club set. The Putter can also be used when the ball rest just off the green and the path to the hole is not obstructed.
To be the best putter you can be, you had to go beyond the putting stroke – a mindset, the body and soul approach. How to read the putting greens and judge the distance?
To do that, survey the general terrain of the land and the surrounding area before hitting the putter. Determine the speed and choose an aiming line. Align the logo of the ball along the intended aiming line, which make it easier to diagnose any putting problems.
With the putter: match body Posture with Path. Ensure that the body remains very still as any motion will cause the path to be inconsistent, which makes solid contact almost impossible. The arms should move freely from the shoulders and swing so that there’s no wrist activity.

If your putting posture is upright, your shoulders would move more "around" rather than "up and down." This merry-go-round action opens the putter face during the back swing and then squares it up coming to the ball.
-
If you chose a bent posture, then the putting pendulum stroke is the correct match where during the backstroke, the front shoulder moves down and the back shoulder rocks up. This pendulum motion is reversed during the forward stroke.
With the putter and while practicing long putting, try to visualize a 3-foot circle around the cup and to stay within that perimeter, as this will give the player an easier second putt. Try putting the ball to this imaginary circle from 30', 40', even 60-foot distances to familiarize with the stroke and distance control needed to get the ball close.
As a lights-out putter with confidence: able to read the greens and judge distance correctly. Also have solid alignment routines and sound putting techniques. The rhythm is flawless and consistent.
Keep your muscles relaxed while you are putting and your shots will become more and more accurate.
