set and as in any sport is in mastering the basics of proper grip of the club. A
good golf grip size is absolutely necessary because it connects the club to the
golfer's hands which will affect the way the golfer start the game.

right-handed, a grip too large may limit your hand action and may lose the ball
to the right. Too small a grip will do the opposite, increase hand action and
may lose it to the left. Just make sure the grip on the club you feel

United State Golf
Association (USGA), a good golf grip has to be round, without obvious bumps,
lumps or hollows. Materials made of rubber or leather with an assortment of

- With large hands uses an overlapping grip.
- With medium-sized hands uses an interlocking grip.
- With smaller hands uses ten-finger grip.

position
- The right hand to put the ball into motion at the downward swing of the
club.

positioned on top of the club and now place the grip of the club on the
fingers of your right hand.
- Look for a tiny vertical crease on your right hand near your wrist and
it must be placed over your left hand.
- The thumb of your right hand should slightly be pointing towards your
right shoulder.
A good golf grip is a relaxing grip in order to hit the ball straight and
far. It is also important that you check your grip every day to ensure that it
does not constantly change.
