If you’re looking for another way to spice up your workout routine, why not try adding some agility training? Changing directions with your body, by rapidly using a combination of coordination and speed, defines agility training.

I use agility training not only for my athletes, but for all age groups. We are led to believe that agility training is solely for the super fit; however, that’s not the case at all. Sure, on the athletic field, agility helps athletes change directions more efficiently as well as reduces their chance of injury.

Let’s never forget during and after The Biggest Loser that obesity has taken over as the number one killer. Two out of three Americans are obese.

In This first episode we saw how the contestants got chosen. We knew that Liz from Massachusetts is on the show; however, she was sent home last week. So what happened?  Well what do you know? Liz was one of a few who were saved by Bob and Jillian and are now on the show. That was the right thing to do. After noting in the last article that those most in need were at such a disadvantage, the show came through for those who may have also been disappointed. We ca

It is fall in New England although right now it feels like summer. However, on Sunday, September 26, 2010, the weather should be clear and crisp- just right for a long walk with volunteer, Judy Grecco.

You will start at Luddam’s Ford Park in Hanover, MA. The walk takes you along the old railroad bed, along Luddam’s Ford Park to Hanson and then you will loop back through Pembroke. You’ll go through Tucker Preserve. The walk is about 4 miles.

Luddam’s Ford Park is one of those city secrets. It is a 19.5-acre resource containing woodlands, open fields, a stream, and a pond. There are several trails that are used by picnickers, walkers and hikers, bird watchers, and boaters.

Cher is 64-years old. She showed up at the MTV Awards Show on September 12, 2010 wearing the same outfit she wore 20 years ago. Click here to see Cher and a recap.

Many of us would be glad if last year’s clothes fit us. So how does the “oldest woman with the biggest hair and the smallest costume” (Cher’s words) stay fit?

Cher is certainly an icon. She’s done it all from music to younger men, to cosmetic surgery. There have been rumors that Cher had a rib taken out to make her waist smaller. There have been rumors that she’s had a body lift. Who cares? I

A senior UK doctor has warned that diagnostic errors are the central cause of avoidable harm to patients in hospitals. Gordon Caldwell, a consultant physician at Worthing Hospital in Western Sussex, argued that doctors need better facilities and sufficient time to make a correct diagnosis. When a patient is admitted to hospital, the team of doctors formulate a “working diagnosis,” he explained. At this point, the diagnosis is uncertain but the patient is treated as if the working diagnosis is correct. “If over the next few days the patient gets better, the working diagnosis is confirmed and becomes the diagnosis,” he said. The buzz around town is that Law and Order: Special Victims Unit star, Mariska Hargitay, is proud of her size 8 body. That translates to “I know I’m not skinny but I like my curves.” How dare she!

Ms. Hargitay is a well-respected actress on a very popular television show. If she were a size 14, 16, 18,  then she would have the right to say she is proud of her curves.  She also doesn’t think she is beautiful although she was named by People Magazine as on of the 50 Most Beautiful People in 2005 and 2006.

Hargitay is the daughter of the sexy Jayne Mansfield and former Mr. Universe Mickey Hargitay.
